MMR Fostering is a child-focused, family-oriented fostering agency committed to providing safety, stability, and meaningful support to vulnerable children and young people. We are currently expanding our network of Independent Social Workers and are seeking skilled Form F Assessors to complete assessments for prospective foster carers in the following regions:
- Midlands
- Essex
- London
- East and West Sussex
- Kent
Role Overview
As an Independent Form F Assessor, you will undertake comprehensive, analytical assessments of prospective foster carers, ensuring that all statutory requirements and quality standards are met. You’ll work closely with our team and may be required to present your assessments to our fostering panel.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete full Form F assessments in line with national minimum standards and fostering regulations
- Undertake home visits, individual and joint interviews with applicants and their family members
- Prepare detailed, evidence-based reports to a high professional standard
- Liaise with MMR’s assessment and panel teams for QA and feedback
- Present assessments at fostering panels as required
Essential Requirements
- Social Work qualification with current SWE registration
- Experience working with looked-after children and foster families
- A strong understanding of Attachment Theory and trauma-informed care
- Proven experience in completing high-quality Form F Assessments
- Skilled in professional report writing and confident in panel presentation
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Right to work in the UK
