We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Case Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting individuals and families in navigating complex social systems. As a Case Worker, you will assess clients' needs, develop tailored support plans, and advocate for their rights and access to necessary resources. Your ability to negotiate effectively will be essential in securing the best outcomes for those you serve.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs and circumstances.
- Develop and implement individualised support plans that address specific goals and challenges.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients throughout their journey.
- Liaise with various agencies, organisations, and service providers to facilitate access to resources.
- Maintain accurate case records and documentation in compliance with organisational policies.
- Monitor client progress and adjust support plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
- Advocate for clients’ rights and entitlements within the community.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of services offered.
Requirements
- Proven experience in case management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills to effectively advocate for clients’ needs.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
- Empathy and understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable individuals and families.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping.
- A relevant qualification in social work, psychology, or a related discipline is advantageous but not essential. Expert in immigration and asylum senior caseworker level 2 accredited by law socitety or immigration advisory authority.
