About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and punctual IGCSE English tutor to join our growing team in London. This is an in-person role, ideal for individuals with experience teaching English as a second language. University students with relevant skills and commitment are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students preparing for IGCSE exams
- Provide targeted support for UK entrance exams (CAT4, UKiSET, ISEB, GCSE)
- Guide and support students in English academic competitions, such as the John Locke Essay Competition
- Tailor lessons to meet individual student needs and track progress
Requirements:
- Prior experience teaching English as a second language (ESL)
- Familiarity with UK school entrance assessments and IGCSE curriculum
- Strong command of written and spoken English
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Responsible, punctual, and committed to student success
Desirable:
- Experience with academic writing or coaching students in essay competitions
- Background in Education, English, or a related field
