Job Description
We are looking for a GCSE ICT tutor to tutor a learner within school for 2 hours a week. It will be in-person.
Location: Wokingham
Hours: 1 x 2 hour session either on a Tuesday or Thursday
Start Date: Ongoing
Rate: £35 per hour (Self-employed)

Aim: To support a 20 year old male achieve GCSE qualification
Location: Mental health unit in Derby
Frequency: 3 x 1 hour sessions a week
Duration: Ongoing
Extra information: This role is not suitable for online. This learner has Asperger's syndrome and Schizoaffective disorder and resides in a mental health unit in Derby.
Key Responsibilities
- Tailor sessions to meet the needs of a learner with a complex profile
- Use trauma-informed and pupil-led approaches to foster engagement and progress
- Build strong, supportive relationships with the student to encourage confidence and participation
- Track and report on progress, adapting plans as needed to ensure continued development
Essential Requirements
- Trauma-informed teaching approach
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
- Self-employed status and right to work in the UK
- Availability during weekday daytime hours
- Reliable transport to attend in-person sessions
