Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic Iceland department. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. Your ability to communicate effectively and engage with customers will be key in driving sales and promoting our products.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly with professionalism
- Upsell products by identifying customer needs and suggesting complementary items
- Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Ensure stock levels are maintained and assist with inventory management
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling calls from customers
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Working from a plan
- Stock Rotation in line with dates
- Knowledge of working food stock is desired
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Organisational skills to maintain a tidy workspace and manage stock efficiently
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is an advantage, particularly in merchandising or upselling techniques

Pay: Up to £1,221.00 per hour
