About the role
We’re looking for a Housing Support Officer to provide dedicated, person-centred support to older and vulnerable residents living in CBC-managed properties. This role is key to helping residents sustain their tenancies, maintain their independence, and support their overall wellbeing.
You’ll build positive relationships through regular contact and practical assistance, while also coordinating referrals to internal teams and external agencies. In addition, you’ll oversee the day-to-day running of our Independent Living Schemes, ensuring they meet all health and safety, safeguarding, and organisational standards. Where appropriate, you’ll also signpost residents to relevant professionals to ensure they receive the right support at the right time.
