Housekeeping Supervisor
Here at Tregenna Castle Resort, we are looking for an extremely dedicated and passionate Housekeeping Supervisor, who will take on the tasks of a property & room attendant whilst also assisting the Resort Housekeeping Manager with the efficient day-to-day running of the Housekeeping department. The responsibilities of the role are to:
- Identify and report any maintenance requirements or potential hazardous situations in our Resort.
- Assist the Housekeeping Manager in the day to day running of the Housekeeping and Self-catering department, with tasks such as;
- Completion of housekeeping team-cleaning checks, ensuring that work carried out by the Housekeeping team is completed efficiently and to the agreed standards.
- Management of staff working hours, ensuring that wage costs are in line with the business levels and departmental cost per room wage budget.
- Assists in the planning, training and development of housekeeping personnel.
We are looking for someone with previous experience in a similar supervisory role; however, we will consider room attendants looking to progress into a supervisory role.
You must have:
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Be self-motivated and have the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A flexible approach to working as the role will involve working weekends and some evenings.
- Demonstrate excellent time keeping and complete duties assigned.
