Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and order in our Hotel. This role is essential in ensuring that our guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming environment. Previous experience in hotels is highly desirable.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met.
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest supplies as needed.
- Dust, vacuum, and mop floors, ensuring all surfaces are sanitised and well-presented.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Assist with laundry duties as required, ensuring all linens are cleaned and stored properly.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are used safely and effectively.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient operations within the housekeeping department.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- A friendly and approachable demeanour with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
