Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests and staff. This position requires an individual who is detail-oriented, possesses excellent customer service skills, and has experience in commercial cleaning or hotel environments.
Duties
The Housekeeper will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Cleaning and sanitising guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to the highest standards.
- Dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors to maintain cleanliness throughout the property.
- Replenishing supplies such as toiletries, linens, and towels as needed.
- Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Providing exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests with professionalism.
- Assisting with laundry duties when required, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or a hotel setting is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and colleagues.
- Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment used in housekeeping tasks.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail in all cleaning duties.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
