Housekeeper

Job !We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Housekeeper to help share the cleaning duties of our 6 ensuite guest rooms and public areas of our country pub.

What the role includes:

• Cleaning and preparing guest bedrooms and bathrooms to a high standard
• Maintaining cleanliness in public areas of the pub
• Working as part of a friendly and supportive team
• Ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests

Hours:

• Part-time hours including some weekends
• Flexible days – shared rota with existing housekeeper
• Morning shifts, primarily between guest changeovers

• Is friendly, punctual and takes pride in their work
• Previous housekeeping experience essential

Duties

• Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
• Ensure that all rooms and common areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
• Change bed linens and towels as required, ensuring high standards of hygiene.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Assist with laundry duties folding linens away on delivery days..
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and inform management when stock is low.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning is essential.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Experience in hotel environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also being a team player.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks for extended periods, including lifting and moving items as necessary.

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
