We are excited to be opening our brand new “Hive” boarding solution for junior boys and girls at Pocklington School and we are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Housekeeper to join our team.
In this varied role, you will support the Houseparent in preparing for the boarders’ evening activities and ensure that the house remains clean, tidy, and welcoming at all times. Once our Friday evening boarding begins, you’ll also take on laundry duties to help keep things running smoothly.
You’ll be part of a small, friendly, and supportive team where a positive attitude and pride in your work are what matter most. Some previous housekeeping or cleaning experience would be helpful, but it isn’t essential as we’ll provide full training. What’s important is that you’re happy to get involved with whatever’s happening in the house and enjoy contributing to a warm and homely environment.

Hours of work: 17.5 hours per week,Monday – Friday 1.30pm to 5pm, during term time. There is some flexibility with the hours, so please feel free to discuss this with us.
Rate of pay: £12.42 per hour, plus holiday pay
