About The Role

Role Summary

You will play a vital role in upholding the high standards of cleanliness and guest experience across the resort. Reporting to the Housekeeping operations Manager, your duties span guest areas, public spaces, and back-of-house support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Public Areas: Clean and maintain reception, corridors, elevators, restrooms, mirrors, windows, and light fixtures.
  • Guest Floors: Remove linens and rubbish, restock supplies like towels, and report maintenance issues such as lights or leaks.
  • Back-of-House: Keep staff areas, storage, and canteen clean; organize carts and supplies; assist with transporting equipment and linen.
  • Waste Management: Collect, dispose, and maintain cleanliness of bins; follow recycling practices.
  • Guest Interaction: Offer courteous greetings and assist with guest requests, escalating as needed.
  • Safety & Compliance: Adhere to health and safety protocols; use cleaning chemicals safely; report hazards or equipment issues.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not mandatory; training is provided.
  • High attention to detail; commitment to cleanliness and presentation.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills; guest-focused demeanor.
  • Physical stamina for lifting, walking, and handling equipment.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
