Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks that support our operations, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading and unloading of customers possessions.
- Perform general site maintenance, including organising work areas.
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery as required.
- Follow instructions from supervisors to complete tasks effectively.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Experience
- Previous experience in a labour-intensive role is advantageous but not essential.
- Previous experience as a Labourer for a Home Removals Company.
- Familiarity with manual handling techniques is preferred.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and task completion.
- Has experience of driving vans or LGV's.
