Hotel Receptionist – Job Overview
We are currently looking for a professional and enthusiastic Hotel Receptionist to join our team at a well-established and reputable hotel.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine passion for providing outstanding guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and check in guests with professionalism and warmth
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints promptly and efficiently
- Manage room reservations and assignments using the hotel’s booking system
- Provide guests with information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
- Answer incoming calls and direct them to the relevant departments or personnel
- Support administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence
- Maintain a clean and presentable front desk area that reflects the hotel’s standards
- Conduct room checks to ensure they meet quality standards before guest arrival
- Assist with bar service when required
- Respond to guest emails in a timely and courteous manner
Requirements
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
- Strong telephone etiquette and customer service skills
- Previous experience in hospitality or front-of-house roles is preferred
- Excellent organisational skills and keen attention to detail
- Familiarity with hotel operations and procedures is advantageous

Pay: Up to £12.44 per hour
