Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of our hotel rooms and public areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. A strong commitment to hospitality and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to the highest standards of cleanliness.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linens in guest rooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitising to ensure guest safety.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests in a friendly and efficient manner.
Experience
- Previous experience in a housekeeping or hospitality role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to hotel operations.

The role will include working a minimum of 20 or 30 hours per week on a rota basis. Shifts would be between 8.00am-4.00pm depending on the needs of the business and includes weekends. You would be required to work most weekends across a 5 day working week on average.
Additional hours may be required to cover sickness, holidays and business needs.
From time to time we may need extra support to help during our breakfast service, serving guests or clearing tables.
Therefore the successful candidate must be flexible, reliable and be good working in a team environment. You must be willing to work any day of the week, bank holidays, school holidays and Christmas.
