Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas within the hotel. This role is vital in ensuring that our guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay, reflecting the high standards of our establishment.
Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including bathrooms, to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a welcoming environment.
- Vacuum carpets and clean floors in guest rooms and public areas.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management promptly.
- Restock cleaning supplies and report shortages to the supervisor.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, ensuring that all linens are cleaned and pressed.
- Follow health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a friendly manner.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping is essential .
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members professionally.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
