Position Overview:
Embark on an exciting hospitality journey in Orlando, Florida with a leading name in upscale dining and service excellence. This J-1 Visa traineeship offers an incredible opportunity for recent graduates and working professionals to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic hospitality environment.
As a Service & Hospitality Trainee, you’ll rotate through key front-of-house roles, including hosting, guest service, and floor operations, while working alongside a team of hospitality experts. Whether greeting guests, supporting dining room flow, or helping deliver unforgettable experiences, you'll be immersed in a professional setting that sharpens your skills and prepares you for a long-term career in hospitality.
Compensation:
$16.00–$20.00 per hour (approximately $2,500–$3,200/month depending on hours and experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and seat guests in a friendly, professional manner
- Support smooth service flow across the front-of-house team
- Provide detailed menu knowledge and assist with guest inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the guest-facing areas
- Collaborate with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure excellent service delivery
- Uphold health and safety regulations and follow all internal protocols
Requirements:
- 5+ years of related work experience or
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary academic institution outside the U.S. or
- Graduated with 12 months relevant work experience
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
- Previous customer service or restaurant experience preferred
- Must be enthusiastic, adaptable, and team-oriented
