Join OurCamps This Summer – Lead Outdoor Adventures in Greenwich Park!
This summer, OurCamps is bringing a nature-packed holiday camp to the heart of Greenwich Park, and we’re looking for confident, friendly, and energetic individuals to join our team! You’ll help deliver exciting outdoor adventures, from wildlife walks and den building to creative storytelling under the trees.
We’re proud to partner with local councils and authorities to offer FREE places for children eligible for free school meals.
Your Role:
- Lead small group activities including forest games, nature crafts, and team challenges
- Bring energy, creativity, and flexibility to each day’s sessions
- Encourage children to explore, move, and play in the outdoors
- Help create a welcoming, inclusive space where every child feels safe
- Act as a professional and positive representative of OurCamps
- Uphold consistent behaviour expectations and model respect
- Follow all OurCamps policies and procedures
- Keep outdoor areas clean, safe, and engaging
- Safeguard children in a public space
- Support safeguarding practices and promote child welfare at all times
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
- Aged 20+
- Enhanced DBS (we can help arrange if needed)
- Able to attend a Zoom/phone interview
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Willing to complete online training modules
Preferable:
- Experience working/volunteering with children in outdoor, play, or creative settings
- First Aid certification
- Confident leading activities and managing groups
- Comfortable working in a natural/outdoor setting
- Strong teamwork and communication skills

Dates: 28th July – 21st August 2025 (Monday–Thursday)
Hours: 9:30am – 2:30pm
Location: The Learning Centre, Greenwich Park, London, Blackheath Gate, SE10 8QY
- Pay: £11.50–£12.50 per hour
