We are a leading UK ship chandler looking for reliable Class 1 and Class 2 drivers to join our casual driver pool. This is a zero-hour contract ideal for those seeking flexibility – regular shifts are available for drivers willing to work, especially over weekends and on nights out. About the Role:
- Multi-drop deliveries to vessels at ports across the UK
- Operation of multi-temperature vehicles (ambient, chilled, and frozen)
- Includes manual handling/handballing ship stores
- Regular nights out required
- Weekend work available with enhanced overtime rates
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) licence
- Up-to-date CPC and digital tachograph card
- Flexibility to work weekends and nights away
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Strong customer service skills – professional conduct is essential when working quayside with our clients
