House of Hearing is a long established Hearing Aid and Ear Health Company based in the Southern East of Scotland. The company's vision is to provide affordable excellence in hearing and aural care that is accessible to all without long waiting times.
This is a full time on site role for a Hearing Aid Dispenser Audiologist, based primarily at our Edinburgh clinic House of Hearing but also on occasion you will be required to cover our sister clinic Lanarkshire Hearing. Salary is £30K to £35K pro rata depending on experience.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments to determine client needs.
- Fit and dispense hearing aids, ensuring proper adjustment and comfort for clients.
- Provide thorough explanations of device usage, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and device fittings.
- Provide counselling and support to patients and collaborating with other health care professionals to ensure comprehensive hearing care.
- Educate clients on hearing health and the importance of regular check-ups.
Qualifications
- Strong diagnostic and assessment skills
- Experience in the sale, fitting and programming of hearing aids.
- Exceptional patient counselling and support abilities
- Collaborative work ethic with other health care professionals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in patient care
- Current HCPC registration as a Hearing Aid Dispenser
