We are looking for a Health & Safety Officer to work within Social Housing / Property Services across Staffordshire. You must have the experience listed below.
- Advise on health & safety legislation and best practices
- Plan and conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Investigate incidents and liaise with regulatory bodies
- Deliver in-house health and fire safety training
- Analyse data and produce reports for senior management
- Support the development of safe systems of work and risk manuals
Skills and experience required:
- NEBOSH qualifications (General Certificate essential; Fire/Construction desirable)
- TechIOSH membership (E)
- Experience in health & safety in high-risk sectors (e.g. care, housing, construction)
- Strong communication, analytical, and report-writing skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and safety data portals
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use
- This role requires the successful candidate to attend in person at construction work sites for work related activity
Salary: £37,510.60 per annum plus Essential Car User Allowance
Location: Base in Stafford with travel across Staffordshire
Hours: 37 hours per week, fixed term initially for 4 months
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 months
Pay: £37,500.00 per year
