Health and Safety Consultant Auditor
This role will be home-based with frequent travel throughout the UK including overnight stays. You will be visiting clients in the very north of England and in Scotland, therefore, need to be located in that region.
We have an exciting opportunity, triggered by strong business growth for a Consultant Auditor who is aligned to our values, to join our team of food, health and safety and fire safety experts.

Main duties
You will be client facing, supporting them to embed a culture focused on health and safety. Key responsibilities will include:
- Completing detailed health and safety/food safety audits at client premises
- Producing clear and concise audit reports including actionable recommendations to mitigate risk and ensure compliance
- Providing competent advice and guidance on health and safety and food safety matters direct to clients
- Supporting with accident investigations, food poisoning allegations and overall safety compliance
- Assisting in the development of technical resources for clients
What we’re looking for
At a technical level, you will hold relevant health and safety and food safety qualifications and competencies. The ideal candidate will also have experience in a similar audit-based role, preferably within the hospitality and leisure sector and will have membership of a relevant professional body (CIEH/IOSH).
At a personal level the successful candidate will be a proactive, hardworking team player with a problem solving and commercial focus. They must be able to build relationships with clients and deliver audit feedback in a supportive and coaching manner.
A full driving licence is essential due to the nature of the role.
The role will be home based with frequent visits to client premises involving overnight stays. You need to be based in the far north of England or Scotland to apply for this role please.
