Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Professional to join our ever-expanding team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for providing high-quality care to individuals in need.
This role requires a blend of practical skills and emotional intelligence, to support clients with various needs, including those with dementia or behavioural challenges.
Duties
- Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including occasional bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual's dietary requirements.
- Assist with medication management and ensure adherence to prescribed treatments.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
- Support individuals with behavioural management strategies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients at all times.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a nursing home or home care setting is desirable, but not necessary, as we provide full training to all staff.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- A valid driving license is required for community care work, and also transporting clients when occasionally required.
- A caring attitude, patience, and the ability to manage challenging behaviours effectively.

Pay: From £12.45 per hour
