Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individual in a variety of settings, including care homes and /or home care environments. Your primary focus will be on assisting individuals with their daily activities, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing while adhering to care plans. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential for success in this position.
Duties
- Assist patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support individuals with mobility and physical activities, ensuring safety at all times.
- Help implement and follow care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and any changes in condition.
- Drive patients to appointments or social activities as required.
- Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes.
- Foster a positive environment that promotes dignity and respect for all patients.
Experience
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with home care practices and care home environments is advantageous.
- Strong command of English is required for effective communication with patients and colleagues.
- A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting patients when necessary.

Pay: £12.21-£15.25 per hour
