Overview
We are seeking a compassionate Greek speaking and dedicated Healthcare Assistant who drives to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to residents in a care home setting. This position requires effective communication skills, a commitment to maintaining care plans, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. A valid driving licence is preferred for this role, as it involve driving client to varies locations around Fulham area.
Duties
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
- Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in healthcare practices.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong communication skills in Greek and English are required for effective interaction with residents and team members.
- Familiarity with IT systems for record-keeping and communication purposes is beneficial.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of residents is crucial for success in this role.
- A valid driving licence is preferred for potential travel between care locations.
