Job Title: Health & Safety Advisor (Site-Based)
Location: B2 4NX, Birmingham
Contract Type: 18-month fixer term contract
Salary: DOE, we are open to negotiate remuneration package for the right candidate
Scope:
As an H&S Advisor, you will be responsible for ensuring all site activities comply with current health and safety regulations. You will work closely with site management, contractors, and workers to promote a culture of safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Identify potential hazards, implement control measures, and ensure risk assessments are in place
- Monitor and enforce adherence to site safety policies, procedures, and method statements
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents, providing reports and recommendations
- Maintain accurate records of safety performance, site inspections, and compliance reports
- Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and external auditors on safety matters
Requirements:
- NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent qualification in Health and Safety
- Proven experience in a Health and Safety role, preferably in curtain walling, cladding, or construction
- Ability to conduct site audits, risk assessments, and accident investigations
- CSCS card
