The role…
This newly created position will play a crucial role in enhancing the effectiveness of our sales function. The head of sales enablement will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing strategies, processes and tools that empower the sales team to perform at the highest potential. The role will align sales, marketing and product teams to ensure consistent messaging, effective training, and access to the right resources at the right time helping to drive revenue growth and improving sales efficiency.
What you’ll be doing…
- Develop and execute the company’s sales enablement strategy in alignment with business goals.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing sales enablement team.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure cross-functional alignment.
Training & Development
- Design and deliver onboarding programs for new sales hires.
- Develop continuous learning programs, including product training, sales skills, and industry knowledge.
- Create competency frameworks and career development paths for the sales organization.
Content & Resources
- Collaborate with Marketing to produce compelling, customer-focused sales collateral and playbooks.
- Manage and maintain a centralized repository of sales resources and tools.
- Ensure content is aligned with the buyer journey and tailored for different customer segments.
Tools & Technology
- Oversee the implementation and adoption of sales enablement tools (CRM, LMS, content management systems, etc.).
- Monitor usage and effectiveness of sales technology stack to improve productivity.
Performance & Insights
- Develop KPIs and metrics to measure enablement program success.
- Analyze sales performance data to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on enablement impact and ROI.
What we’re looking for…
Experience:
- Experience creating compelling, visually engaging content using tools like Articulate, Camtasia, Synthesia, Guidde, Scribe or similar platforms.
- Highly collaborative working with sales teams and understanding sales processes, methodologies, and performance drivers.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Experience building sales tools, playbooks, training, and certification programs.
- Knowledge of major Sales Methodologies such as Value Selling, Sandler, Richardson Sales Performance or Sales Qualification Framework MEDDPICC highly regarded
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding of the sales process and customer buying journey.
- Proficiency with CRM (Salesforce preferred), sales engagement platforms, and enablement tools.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action
- Proven track record leading a Sales Enablement function in a Data or SaaS environment
- Familiarity with Highspot or other LMS platforms, with experience managing and deploying content.
