We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a HEAD OF RECREATIONAL GYMNASTICS . This role also presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of our club by assisting in preschool gymnastics as we expand. Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality recreational gymnastics coaching sessions to children of varying ages and skill levels.
- Create and implement engaging lesson plans that promote skill development, physical fitness, and a love for gymnastics.
- Provide a safe and inclusive environment for participants, ensuring their welfare and well-being at all times.
- Foster positive relationships with athletes, parents, and guardians, promoting open communication and addressing any concerns.
- Assess individual progress and provide constructive feedback to help athletes improve their performance.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to coordinate events, demonstrations, and performances.
- Assist in preschool gymnastics as the club grows, potentially involving daytime working hours.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 2 qualification in gymnastics coaching.
- A minimum of two years of coaching experience in gymnastics.
- Full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
- Up-to-date First Aid and Safeguarding qualifications.
- A genuine interest in gymnastics and a strong desire to work with children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
- Patience, understanding, and the ability to adapt coaching techniques to meet individual needs.
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual, with a commitment to delivering high-quality coaching sessions.
Working Hours:
Part or full time working hours available upon request of the candidate, with working hours primarily during evenings and weekends to accommodate gymnastics classes and events.
Part time option 17.5 hours per week (£12,500 per annum):
Full time option 40 hours per week (£28,000 per annum):
