Job Description
We’re recruiting for a Head of Index and ETF Specialists to join us.
What you’ll be doing:
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the current investment market and economic issues for all wrappers
- Working closely with the portfolio management team to enhance your knowledge of our portfolio management philosophy and techniques across the range of strategies being managed
- Supporting the portfolio management team in research and product development initiatives
- Supporting the portfolio management team in thought leadership papers and marketing materials, such as blogs
- Coordinating and collaborating with Distribution and Portfolio management teams to ensure high-quality RFPs are submitted showcasing our passive offering
- Creating standard presentation slides and content to support client meetings and new business opportunities
- Preparing material for investment reports as required
- Assisting with client-servicing, including responding to client requests and preparing materials for bespoke client/consultant presentations
Qualifications
Who we’re looking for:
- Strong academic background with postgraduate qualifications preferred but not essential
- Extensive knowledge of financial markets, investment management, and investment processes, particularly in index/ETF
- Effective and confident communication skills, with the ability to exert influence and develop senior internal relationships
- High standards of fairness, integrity, and discretion
- Highly organised with strong prioritisation skills and the ability to manage multiple deliverables under time pressure
- Excellent attention to detail and an inquisitive mind
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to showcase complex products in a simplistic manner
- Understanding of investment management techniques and processes in an Index Management context
