We are seeking a Head Housekeeper to lead our small, dedicated housekeeping team at our award-winning 5 Star Inn and 2 Rosette Restaurant, nestled in the heart of the breathtaking Yorkshire Dales National Park.

The Role
As Head Housekeeper, you will take responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day housekeeping operations, ensuring our rooms and public areas are presented to the highest standard at all times. You’ll manage and support two reliable housekeepers who are already well-established and familiar with our standards.
This is a part-time role, and working hours are negotiable to suit the right candidate. Weekend availability may be required on occasion.
✅ Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate housekeeping duties across all guest rooms and public areas
- Supervise and support housekeeping staff
- Ensure cleaning standards consistently meet 5-star expectations
- Manage linen, stock levels and cleaning supplies
- Liaise with management and front-of-house to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Implement and maintain health & safety and hygiene protocols
About You
- Proven experience in a similar housekeeping or supervisory role
- High attention to detail and standards of cleanliness
- Friendly, reliable, and proactive with a hands-on approach
- Able to lead a small team with confidence and respect
- Flexible and adaptable to seasonal business needs
- A love for working in a beautiful rural environment is a must!
