Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing assistance to individuals in need, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position involves working closely with clients in various settings, including care homes, to support their daily activities and promote independence.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients in their daily routines and activities, ensuring adherence to individual care plans.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in their condition.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
- Participate in training sessions and adhere to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being able to work independently.
- Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes.
- A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients when necessary.
- DBS needs to be on the update service

Pay: From £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
