We are seeking a skilled Guillotine Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in handling various tools and equipment. This role involves operating a guillotine machine to cut materials with precision while ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality control measures.
Duties
- Operate the guillotine machine to cut materials according to specifications.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on the machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for preparation and assembly tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to manage workflow and meet production targets.
- Perform heavy lifting and assist in the fabrication process as required.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Document production output and report any issues or discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in operating machinery.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, sewing, and fabrication techniques is highly desirable.
- Previous warehouse experience is an advantage, particularly in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily responsibilities.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Hours:
Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 16:30pm
Friday - 7:30am - 16:00pm
Possible Overtime
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
