Over the last few years, Azets has seen a period of sustained growth and we been building a private client tax hub in our South Wales region, to help us facilitate further growth. This team functions as a National Service line, which acts separately to our Regional Tax team. This role is newly created, so you would have the opportunity to make this role your own and have a visual impact on the business. This opportunity is unique in that you will be joining a newly established team which is going to go through a period of sustained growth, so there will be ideal for those who are looking to develop themselves and climb the ladder. We would provide you with plenty of opportunities to further develop your skills through study and hands on experience.

The opportunity

As an Associate at Azets, you will have the ability and motivation needed to:

• Understand and become involved in basic compliance tasks
• Preparation of basic computations for review by senior staff
• Working with AI and automation embedded within processes
• Work within your own chargeable time budget

Day to day duties

• Help with the preparation of Self-Assessment and income expenditure statements for clients
• Assist your colleagues with obtaining information for the completion of accounts and tax returns
• Carry out tax administration
• Communicate with HMRC and really gaining a full insight into the world of taxation

What are we looking for?

• As an Associate we will enrol you on the tax qualification ATT
