Job Summary
We are seeking 2 dedicated and skilled Groundworkers to join our team. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in various construction and maintenance projects, ensuring that groundwork is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Dumper Tickets are also essential.
Duties
- Excavate and dig trenches for foundations, drainage systems, and other construction needs.
- Operate machinery and tools safely and effectively, ensuring proper maintenance is upheld.
- Assist in the installation of utilities such as water, gas, and electricity.
- Cropping Piles & Stoning Up
- Prepare sites for construction by clearing debris and levelling ground.
- Operate Dumper as and when required.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure smooth workflow on-site.
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Report any issues or hazards to the site supervisor promptly.
Qualifications
- Blue CSCS/CPCS or NPORS re Dumper.
- Asbestos Awareness Cert
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various tools and machinery.
- A valid commercial driving licence is advantageous for transporting materials as required.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to completing tasks efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
