Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking CSCS Groundworkers to join our clients team on a project in Chichester.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in a new build medical building, ensuring that all groundwork is completed to the highest standards.
This position requires physical , attention to detail, and a commitment to safety as well as a strong knowledge on external finishing works
Duties
- Dig trenches, lay foundations, and perform other groundwork tasks as directed.
- Operate hand tools and machinery safely and effectively.
- External finishings such as laying slabs, kerbs & edgings
- Ensure that all materials are handled correctly and stored safely.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure personal and team safety.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently.
Skills
- Strong physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour for extended periods.
- Familiarity with construction tools and machinery is advantageous.
- Good communication skills to work effectively within a team.
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and adhere to safety protocols.
- Previous experience in groundwork or construction is desirable but not essential.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: £21.00-£21.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
