Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper who has excellent references and many years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscape maintenance and possess a diverse skill set that includes mechanical knowledge and experience with various tools. Buidling, carpentry and driving skills a bonus. This post includes housekeeping jobs as well as land maintenance. The position requires a physcially strong and fit individual. There is also potential for a live in position.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and planting.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators for various tasks.
- Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure efficient water usage.
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in construction projects related to landscaping and gardening.
- Apply horticultural knowledge to enhance the health and appearance of plants and gardens.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Skills
- Proficiency in landscape maintenance techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and their maintenance requirements.
- Background in construction practices related to landscaping projects.
- Knowledge of gardening principles and horticulture best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Excellent organisational skills.

Pay: £24,420.00-£37,925.14 per year
