We are looking for a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader in Exeter.
This is a contract running ASAP until the end of September 2025.
Working 5 days out of 7 with start times between 05:00am and 07:00am and finishes between 13:00 and 18:00 dependent on role undertaken - flexibility is a must for this position.
Duties will include:
- Main duties will include grass cutting, spraying, weeding, hoeing and planting.
- Use of lawn and hedge strimmers, hand-held leaf blowers as well as similar equipment
- Shrub pruning, weed removal and collection of litter.
- Car park and street cleansing duties all involved also.
- Training will provided for all aspects of the job role required - this will result in different start times across this period.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
- Full UK driving license (clean)
- ·Physically fit to carry out manual tasks and general labour.
- Demonstrable managerial experience i.e. problem solving, communication/interpersonal skills, organizational skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role
