Grounds Maintenance Driver/Operative
37 hours per week (Covering 7 days on a 40-hour rota basis between 6am - 10pm)
Starting Salary £24,790
27 days Annual Leave, increasing after 5 years’ service

The successful candidate will drive and operate a selection of grounds maintenance vehicles & equipment as well as undertaking general grounds maintenance duties, within the Borough of Hastings and St. Leonards. The postholder will ensure that a high standard of grounds maintenance is maintained and will have excellent customer service skills.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of driving grounds maintenance vehicles and will have the ability to operate a wide range of grounds maintenance tools and equipment.

Essential: Cat B Driving Licence category.
Desirable: Experience of driving up to 120 HP tractors and knowledge of appliances (Mowers, Flail Arms, Trailers etc).
