Overview
We are currently seeking skilled and reliable Groundworkers to join our civils team across multiple active sites. This role involves a wide range of groundwork activities, including foundations, drainage, ducting, kerbing, and finishing works.
Responsibilities
- Install drainage systems and ducting
- Lay kerbs, edgings, and concrete
- Prepare foundations and assist in concrete pours
- Carry out reinstatement and general finishing works
- Interpret and work from site drawings
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Follow Health & Safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines
- Report equipment faults or unsafe conditions promptly
Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card (essential)
- CPCS or NPORS for Forward Tipping Dumper (preferred)
- CPCS or NPORS for 120 Roller
- Confined Space Training
- EUSR 12345 (preferred)
- Abrasive wheels
- Slinger Signaller
- Banksman
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in groundworks
- Own PPE and basic hand tools
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented approach
- Good understanding of health and safety practices
- Valid UK driver’s licence preferred but not essential
