Taka Taka is a vibrant and fast-paced Greek street food restaurant in the heart of Bristol. We are currently looking for an experienced Grill Cook to join our kitchen team and help deliver high-quality meals with speed and consistency.
Responsibilities:
- Grill a variety of meats to order (chicken, lamb, beef, pork, etc.) with precision and speed
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Assist in food preparation and kitchen setup before service
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized grill and work station
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team and front-of-house staff
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience working as a grill cook or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of meat grilling techniques and cooking temperatures
- Experience with food preparation, portion control, and kitchen hygiene
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
