About the Role:
- Work closely with teachers to support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, Autism, or physical disabilities.
- Assist in delivering tailored education plans for pupils with EHCPs.
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to help students engage with learning.
- Help create a safe and encouraging classroom environment.
- Gain experience working alongside educational specialists such as Speech and Language Therapists and Educational Psychologists.
The ideal Applicant:
- A graduate from any discipline – backgrounds in Childhood Studies, Psychology, Criminology, Health and Social Care, or Sports Studies are particularly relevant.
- Someone who is patient, kind, and committed to supporting young learners.
- A strong communicator who can build relationships with students and staff.
- A reliable individual with a consistent and nurturing approach to education.
The Details:
- Location: Carlisle
- Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday
- Start Date: ASAP, long-term role

This advert is for a temporary position but long term. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available.
