Goods Out Controller (Plumbing and Heating)
Location: Watford
Salary: £31,000-£32,000
Hours: 49.25 per week, Mon-Fri 7am-5pm, alternate Saturdays 7am-4pm
We are looking for a reliable and organised Goods Out Controller to join our Watford branch at MP Moran Builders Merchant. This is a hands-on role focused on the picking, packing, and stocking of goods, primarily with our plumbing and heating products.

Key Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack orders accurately and safely.
- Maintain stock, ensuring materials are stored in designated areas for easy access.
- Ensure goods are correctly labelled and prepared for dispatch.
- Maintain accurate stock records and investigate discrepancies.
- Support with stock takes and year-end counts
- Prioritise orders based on urgency and delivery deadlines
- Keep your working area clean, organised, and compliant
- Assist with returns and ensure correct stock adjustments
Requirements:
- Organised, with strong attention to detail.
- Experienced in picking and putting away stock, ideally in a builders merchant or similar environment.
- Hold a valid forklift licence (training can be provided).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting and handling heavier items.
- Good communication skills and a team player.
- Familiar with stock systems and basic IT tools.

Experience:
- Picking & packing: 2 years (required)
- Plumbing and Heating : 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
