Golf Operations Assistant
The Heron Country Club, Brentwood, Essex, is set in nearly 300 acres of undulating countryside and comprises a unique 27-hole layout Golf course with a magnificent Clubhouse, a Toptracer Range, and a Padel Club with covered and floodlit courts. Ideal candidates will be those with experience and a high level of enthusiasm for golf and sport. The role requires team players with positive energy, effective communicators with excellent intrapersonal skills, and a passion for customer service. The aim of our team is to meet and exceed the expectations of our members and visitors to the club, and to provide the highest possible personal and professional standards, and an exemplary service to reflect the ambition of the company.
The role and responsibilities:
- Meet and greet members and visitors, and always present the Club in the best possible way by ensuring that everything is as good as it can be.
- Manage tee bookings via the online booking system, or by telephone.
- Dealing with customer enquiries regarding golf bookings and membership
- Retail sales and till operation to ensure correct transactions are completed.
- Looking after a fleet of electric golf buggies, ensuring that they are clean and charged and that we never miss a potential sale.
- Support the customer’s use of the Toptracer Range, ensuring that they feel comfortable with the technology and encouraged to use the functionality and games in place.
- On course Player Assistant role
- Be active on the Golf Course and raise any issues that need to be attended to with the line manager or greenkeeping team.

Pay: £10.00-£12.50 per hour
