General Maintenance Assistant

The role:
This is a ‘hands on’ role involving grounds and wash bay maintenance, setting up for public events (involves manual handling), and general maintenance duties across the centre. Reporting into the Maintenance Supervisor, support and training will be given but an ability to work independently is required.
Knowledge and skills:
· Previous experience in a similar role preferred
· Qualified in a trade preferable, but not essential
· Practical experience of working forklifts and machinery advantageous
· Full driving licence
· Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements
· Flexibility to work additional hours
· Team Player
· Good communication skills
