Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting various tasks across our landscaping operations, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard. This position requires physical stamina and attention to detail.
We specialise in Aquatic landscaping, working in and around ponds at least 70% of the working week, so will have to be confident being around water.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
- Perform general maintenance tasks as required.
- Follow instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery safely.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in a labour-intensive role is advantageous but not essential.
- Familiarity with construction or manual handling practices is preferred.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills to follow instructions and report issues effectively.
- A valid driving licence is beneficial for transportation purposes, although not mandatory if you live within 1 mile of BS14 (Whitchurch, Bristol)
