Job Summary
THIS IS A SELF EMPLOYED ROLE OF 3 DAYS PER WEEK , working in combination with another maintenance man
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and repair of facilities, equipment, and systems within 3 care homes located in Bexhill and St Leonards. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various facilities and equipment.
- Conduct inspections to identify issues that require attention.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding maintenance needs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in general maintenance required
- Basic decorating, plumbing and relevant general maintenance skills required
- Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
- Familiarity with basic tools and equipment used in maintenance tasks.
- OWN TOOLS AND TRANSPORT REQUIRED
