Trident Alternative Provsion is an independent special school dedicated to providing exceptional education and support for young people aged 5 to 19 with social, emotional, and mental health needs, as well as social and communication difficulties associated with Autism Spectrum Conditions and ADHD. We are looking for an engaging and calm individual to join our team of tutors based Solihull. You will be required to support learners with their educational and social development, both in, and out the classroom. You will be directly managed by the Head Teacher.

The young people on our programmes have a variety of complex learning needs and typically have a history of poor attendance and/or behaviour so ideally you will have either existing experience in this field or the behaviours and personality to develop into the role. We provide a comprehensive training package which could see you develop to level 5 and beyond!
Some of the Key duties and requirements of this role are:
- Planning and delivering a varied curriculum that includes Functional Skills Maths and English, Science, PSHE and vocational topics such as Sport, NCFE Construction, Painting and decorating, Hair & Beauty and Health & Social Care
- Being passionate about helping learners achieve even if they don’t appear to want to help themselves achieve - you need to be a good motivator
- Being highly driven and resilient when dealing with learners with challenging behaviours and in some cases complex needs.
