Duties
- Provide outstanding guest services by ensuring all guests feel welcomed and attended to during events.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items, adhering to strict food safety standards.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service and smooth operation throughout events.
- Support the restaurant team by helping with various tasks, including setting up dining areas and serving food and beverages.
- Utilise basic maths skills for processing orders and handling payments accurately.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and promote menu items effectively.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area.
Skills
- Strong background in guest services with a commitment to providing excellent hospitality.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently, enhancing the overall dining experience for guests.
