Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
- Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring all merchandise is well-displayed and stocked.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale.
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers to enhance their shopping experience.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock replenishment and conducting regular stock checks.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail or sales is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with a friendly and approachable manner.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions and stock management.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends if required.
