WHO WE ARE
Chim’s is a small, family-run restaurant serving up bold, street-style Thai food with heart - right in the centre of Cheam Village on the Broadway.
Born in June 2020, Chim’s is the next chapter from the family behind local favourite Regional Thai Taste. We’ve taken the recipes our family has loved for three generations, mixed in a fresh, modern twist, and created a menu that celebrates both classic Thai flavours and vibrant, street-food favourites.
We’re all about big flavours, warm service, and a buzzing atmosphere - the kind of place where regulars feel like family, and newcomers feel right at home.
THE POSITION
We’re on the lookout for friendly, enthusiastic, and hard-working individuals to join our close-knit team at Chim’s! If you love great food, good vibes, and making people smile - this could be the perfect fit for you.
As part of our front-of-house team, you’ll be making sure our lovely guests feel welcome from the moment they walk in, delivering top-notch service and helping to create the relaxed, buzzy atmosphere we’re known for. You’ll be a key part of the experience - the friendly face our regulars love to see and the reason new customers want to come back!
Salary is up to £12.50 per hour, based on experience and age, with clear opportunities to progress as you grow with us. You’ll also earn tips on top, enjoy free or discounted meals during your shifts, and benefit from a staff discount when you’re off the clock.

REQUIREMENTS
To be a great fit for this role, you’ll need:
- Weekend availability – hospitality never sleeps, especially on Saturdays!
- At least 1 year of experience in customer-facing roles (restaurant, café, bar – we love all-rounders)
- Looking for something long-term – we’re after team members who want to grow with us
- Comfortable working on-site – this is an in-person role (you can’t serve Pad Thai over Zoom!)
- 18+ preferred – due to some bar and alcohol service responsibilities*
*We welcome applications from all ages, but some tasks may require serving alcohol in line with licensing laws.
